ABOUT
Daniel Morden has been a professional storyteller since 1989. He has travelled the world, collecting and telling traditional stories. He has a huge repertoire, from timeless Greek myths and thrilling adventures to awful jokes. He has given the Opening Address at Sydney Writers Festival, won awards for his books and was recently awarded The Hay Festival Medal.
GREEK MYTH
As a solo artist or in collaboration with Hugh Lupton, Daniel is known for lucid, poignant and authentic retellings of Greek and Roman tales. In 2006 they were awarded The Classical Association Award for ‘the most significant contribution to the public understanding of the classics’
His repertoire includes retellings of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey and many shorter tales, including Orpheus, Midas and Demeter & Persephone.

TRAINING
Daniel is an experienced teacher. He has taught widely, for such organisations as The National Theatre, Ty Newydd Writer’s Centre, University of South Wales, Newport Film School and University of Falmouth. He is happy to discuss teaching online.
