Schools

Daniel has been visiting schools- either to tell stories or to teach creative writing- since the 1980s. His love of language and story is infectious and has stories to suit every age group. He is also and award-winning children’s author. Two of his story anthologies, DARK TALES FROM THE WOODS and TREE OF LEAF AND FLAME, have won the Tir-nan-Og Prize.

‘As listeners, thinkers and storytellers, our children developed a passion for language, revelling in Daniel’s stories, riddles and rhymes. Through a variety of games, the children became more confident, expressive and imaginative.
